Pros:All 25 episodes from Season Nine in one handy box set.
Cons:None
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this DVD box set to any fan of the Simpsons or to anyone looking for a good laugh.

Plot Details: This opinion reveals no details about the movie's plot.

The Simpsons Season Nine special edition four disc DVD box set is a must have for any Simpsons fan. In Season Nine we are treated to twenty five uncut episodes, and a plethora of special features. On this season we get to see Homer and Marge decide to spice their sex lives up by making out in places where they could be caught, only to end up naked in front of everyone at a football stadium. We also see Homer and Lisa break into a museum to see a rare Egyptian artifact, and we watch as Homer tries to climb the highest mountain in Springfield to earn the respect of Bart after he humiliates him in front of everyone by passing out in a race. We also get another 'Treehouse of Horror' episode, continuing the Simpsons tradition of making a Halloween special each season. Homer learns the value of a good garbageman after he curses at the local garbagemen for missing one bag of his garbage, and we see Bart and Lisa compete with one another for the top spot on the local kid run news series. The special features this time are optional commentary for each of the twenty five episodes, deleted scenes with optional commentary, animation showcases, illustrated commentaries (where Matt Groening and various artists doodle on the screen while talking), a sketch gallery, and an exclusive sneak peek at the Simpsons movie. All in all, this DVD makes for one good collectible and it is a great addition to any DVD collector's collection.
