Pros: toe ramp, aluminum ratchets, nice padding on straps
Cons: bolts may get loose at first, but after a while they settle in.
The Bottom Line: Overall, the Sims Master Link's are excellent bindings with great features for advanced riders. It is customizable and adjustable like you can't imagine! I highly recommend it.

I first got these bindings in November of 2000 on ebay for about $100 new. These are my first pair of bindings. I was a little worried when I first tried them on because the toe strap was not centered over my boot. I later realized it wasn't a problem and didn't affect my riding.
Some of the things I like about these bindings are the power ramps (toe ramps) that can be adjusted so that the front of your boot doesn't hit the snow (good for people with big feet). Another good feature is the super-cushioned straps and highback, which is great because your toes don't get pinched by the straps. The baseplate is made of plastic, so it is better for freestyle because it is more flexible and lighter, yet still strong.
I would have to say one of the major weaknesses of these bindings are the bolts which always seem to come loose. I would have to carry tools on the slopes in case this happened. A quick fix is to buy some loc-tite and put it on the bolts to make sure they stay there. Another problem which I was warned about is the 3mm allen key tool falling off of the highback. It seemed secure to me, but my first time out riding I lost it on the slopes somewhere, so be careful!
