For the most part, I let my kids pick out their own shoes when it comes to purchasing them. They know I have veto power, but as far as color is concerned I could care less, and as long as they like them and want to wear them, I'm usually pretty lenient when it comes to shoes.
Anyway, my oldest picked out the Sketchers Bubble Run and these come in 2 styles, regular lace up, and then the other style has a Velcro closing. These come in several different colors, but the main ones I have seen are silver and pink and pink and black. We have the pink, white, and silver in the lace up style, and you get two sets of shoelaces, pink, and white.
I have seen this in a toddler size 10 on up to about a youth size 2 or 3 and I shop over at Sketchers.com. Seems like I gave $39 for these and that's not too bad of a price. In addition to pink, silver, and white this also has a bit of metallic thread to it on the shoe as well. There is the Sketchers S done in the metallic thread as well.
These really do fit pretty well and I haven't heard any complaints nor have I seen these slip up and down in the heel area. One thing about these is they seem to wear out rather quickly, but they can hold up to a washing. These have become our basketball practice shoes and have been working out pretty well for that.
Overall, these are pretty decent shoes, but for some reason these show wear a little sooner than others we have had. They are ok for the price but if you're looking for something a little more long term, then look elsewhere.
