The Bottom Line: Very nice machine, works well, and very unobtrusive looking, with propane tank cover.

Picked this up at Sam's Club last night for $349. Very easy to put together, (wheels and stand are the only assembly tasks). Positioned it as called for, about 20 feet from the patio, threw on the propane tank, and started it up! Was surprised at how quiet it was. In fact, be careful when lighting it. There is a small grid on the top of the motor, with a safety label that I quasi-ignored. When the flame lit, a small flash came out of this grid. Shocked me a bit, but it was nothing more than what happens when I light my grill, and I should have paid more attention to the warning label. Anyway, after that happened, the machine was lit, but due to its very quiet nature, I didn't even know it! There is a green light on the front that flashes when the flame is burning, and I didn't notice this, instead continuing to try and light the flame. After a few minutes of this, I backed away, saw the flashing light, and realized I was trying to start a machine that was already running! The instructions clearly state all of this info, I guess I should have read them!
The literature that comes with the unit states that you will see a marked reduction in skeeters in 14 days. I will check back in a couple of weeks with my take on the effectiveness. If you are going to get one of these, get it at Sam's, instead of buying on the internet. Huge price differential!!!

Very satisfied with the product! I have been able to reclaim my backyard, and my pups are happy! My next door neighbor commented yesterday that all of the mosquitoes in his yard seemed to have disappeared. A week ago, when my girlfriend and I were enjoying our patio, the neighbor kids behind us jumped up on the fence and hollered, "our Dad wants to know why you sent all of the mosquitoes to our yard!" Pretty funny. Evidently, they saw us not swatting, and wondered why they were.
Anyway, I have skeeters in the netting, and more importantly, my yard does not. It has been running for 12 days now, and I am watching to see if the tank lasts the promised 21 days. Highly recommended, for those who value their outdoors.
