Pros: Works Great
Cons: Customer service at Blue Rhino stinks.
The Bottom Line: The unit works, if you take the time and set it up and put it in the right location it just works that simple.

Bought a Skeeter-Vac SV-1000 on ebay.
It is the 1993 model and it works great.
I added the 2004 / 2005 Tack Trap sticky paper that goes on
the new models and that increased the performance x2.
It works great to get green heads and dear flies.
After I purchased the unit I checked out a review on Epinions by Activehost from June 9th 2003 about how bad the unit was and how it was engineered wrong.
Well he is wrong If you read his or her review they state the co2 blows out the top of the unit. and the bugs get sucked in the bottom.
The SV1000 does in fact blow air out the top but that is the air created by the vacuum fan to suck in the bugs at the bottom of the unit.
The SV1000 has a 2nd small fan that blows co2 and octinol out 2 small ports at the bottom of the unit just below were the bugs get sucked in.
The unit does work and it works great.
I live by a pond and woods with swamp beyond that and we can go out and enjoy our yard.
It does cost money to maintain with propane bait etc but if you want to be bug free its worth it.
The only problem I had was the small fan needed replacement
Which I did myself and it works fine.
The first day after repair the unit had at least 50 mosquitoes in it when I got home from work.
I was able to do this but some people may not be able to do that if need be.The alternative was to buy a new engine as they call it from Blue Rhino for $70.00
I would buy this again and am happy with it.
