Pros: Works longer than they claim. Nice low profile. Quiet.
Cons: Clean out is a pain. Cost of attractent.
The Bottom Line: Buy it. Comfort and piece of mind is not that hard to measure when you have one of these units.

Being up North, I think we have a better chance than those people in the Southern areas to catch mosquitoes. We don't have the Tiger mosquito up here. My SV2000 has caught a great amount of 'skeeters, Black Flies, and deer flies. The trap has to be emptied every three days at the height of the season. Now we can sit on the porch, day or night, and be comfortable.
The sticky trap also does it's job well. It is a job getting it on the first times, but once you get the method down, it's a snap.
With the loss of Crows and Blue Jays from West Nile, I feel safe with this unit in my yard, so safe, I bought a second unit for the back yard. Since one unit is only good for one side at a time, now we have complete protection for our property and people. No electric cords are needed, so you can position the unit anywhere away from where you normally sit or rest. This way, the bugs are drawn away from you and to their demise. I have had the first one for four years, and the second one for two. Best monies I have spent for comfort of the family and me.
