skeetervack sv-15 does not start or light

Pros: product actually works
Cons: craps out after 1st season.
bait & trap refill is expensive
The Bottom Line: do not buy product because it will NOT work after 2nd season. sorry, for this price it is definately NOT worth it!

1st year of use it was "OK". the trap would get full, and then you would replace the trap and scent. but, its $20 for the scent and $20 for the trap! and it goes through a tank of gas once every other month. ouch..
this is major expense. but.. we got our yard back, so i was happy.
that was until the 2nd season and my skeeterVAc won't start!!!
i hear a "tick tick tick" when i push the button, but never a "pop" as there is NO light off.
i disassembled the unit and looked inside the combustion chamber. there was all sorts of carbon build up. i chipped it away and used compressed air to clean it all out. then i checked the spark to SEE that it was working, and it was.
then i turned on the gass and SMELLED that it was working. seems good.
i put it all together again, but no.. it still won't light off! i'm SO angry!!
so then i took it apart AGAIN and ajusted the spark plug so that it would spark across the grill where the gas comes up. tested it, looks good.
tried it again and no light off.
my best guess now is that my seal is no good and the gas is leaking out instead of moving towards spark?
so i turn on the gas extra open, i want to hear a huge "POP", maybe even a "BANG"... but nothing.. no light, even after 30 seconds of holding the button down
what should i do?
