Nice Bass and mid/highs
Cons:A little tight fitting for some people, but it's hard to beat the sound quality.
The Bottom Line: I am a professional recording engineer and a pro musician and I highly recommend the Skullcandy skullcrusher headphones. Musicians are wearing these headphones at live gigs.
I bought the Skullcandy Skullcrushers headphones for my recording studio to try them out. I am so pleased with the sound and the performance I am going to buy a few more pair. The bass sub amp works really well and yes! there is truly some bass in the phones and not just vibration as from some of the other reviews I read. They seem to work very good when recording drums. The ear pieces keep out the acoustic set and let you hear what is in the phones. The sub adds the low end to the kit and adjusted properly makes for a pleasant sounding recording experience.

The key is to adjust the sub amp to obtain the proper mix between lows and highs. If you turn the sub up too much it does not sound natural as far as the mix goes. Recording Vocals also sound good with these phones as well as just listing to your favorite tunes on the computer or iPod.
They seem to be built pretty well and have a nice weight to them. They seem to meet my criteria as I am replacing some 150$ Sony 50mm phones that I have had for about 7 years that just blew a few weeks ago. All in all I think they are a great buy. Check my mastering studio out at www.studioace.com
