Sleep at the Sleep Inn

Pros:Very clean
Helpful and friendly staff
Cons:Nothing offensive
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this hotel because it was clean, friendly, and an overall enjoyable stay.

My boyfriend and I were traveling for the Easter Holiday from Pittsburgh, Pa down to Rodanthe, NC.   Since we were leaving late at night we needed a place to stay on our trip, since Frederick is about half way between the two places we decided on the Sleep Inn located in Frederick.  We found it for a reasonable price for a double bed non-smoking room.   The hotel itself was easy to find as long as we had the GPS with us, without it I don't think I would have been able to find the place, but that adds to the beauty of the hotel: no sounds of cars to disturb our rest.

Upon arrival we checked in with little difficulties aside from the computer freezing up on us.  The front desk person was very friendly and helpful, he spoke quietly to ensure those relaxing in the lobby were not disturbed but enough for us to be able to hear what he told us.  Find our room was very easy as was the access into the room.   The hallway, lobby and even the outside of the hotel was very well cleaned and maintained which gave us hope for our room.  We have stayed in hotels that were not pleasing so it was nice to step into one that was impecible.

The room was spotless, including the bathroom which was handicap accessable which we did not ask for and I felt bad for having it in case someone needed it.  I was not hesitant about taking a bath in the bathtub as I normally am.   The room was very spacious (as it was a handicap room).  The bed as well as the pillows were ver comfortable and made for an good night's rest after a long ride, and helped us prepare for the long drive we still had ahead of us.

When I had awoken then next morning I realized my car keys  were missing, when I went to the front desk, they had them sitting behind the counter and stated they called the room the night before but got no answer (at which I was in the tub and my boyfriend was getting ice for a drink) so they held my keys for me.   The lobby again was very clean and well light by the windows.  When we went down for breakfast, it was the normal spread with bagels, muffins, cereal and the sort.  The staff was very friendly when I asked for a piece of fruit.   When one thing was taken, the staff quickly restocked it so that no one would miss what they wanted.

I am very pleased with my stay at the Sleep Inn in Frederick.  I highly recommend it to other people who are traveling through the town.
