Pros:Very affordable compared to tempur pedic. Easy to transfer in the box.
Cons:None .... even 6 months later.
The Bottom Line: Recommended over any other foam bed for the money.

I looked into tempur pedic and all other foam beds. My girlfriend and I decided after a long decision process to go ahead and purchase the queen bed from costco. It has been about 2 hours since we unwrapped it. It is filling up like they said it would. 24 to 72 hours it should take and it already feels awesome after 2 hours.

We laid in the tempur pedic and had not found a place that had the novaform on display. So, I was very skeptical. But, we never bought anything that was not quality from costco. So, we went ahead and bought it to try it since we can take it back.

I do smell the chemical they are talking about that goes away in a week or two. So far, everything is as everyone says.

I will let you know how we like the bed in a week or so. I really like it so far. Oh, by the way, when we unpacked it, there was a large hump in the middle where it was folded. I was concerned at first, but after 2 hours, it is definitely going away. I'm certain it will be perfectly flat within a day or so. Costco never sells less that excellent products and I am confident the bed should be a great product.

UPDATE:

It's been about a week or more since we purchased the bed. We are sleeping absolutley fantastic on the bed. We never wake up with a back ache and we seem to be in a much deeper sleep than before. Every day we tell each other and family members how much we love the NovaForm Elite.

I'm not sure how it would compare to a tempur pedic, but we have no complaints whatsoever. For $900 less than the tempur pedic, it sure is compfortable. I would buy another in a heartbeat!

The initial smell of the mattress took about 5 days to go away. Also, it took about 3-4 days to flatten out completely. We slept on it the 1st night and it seemed a bit hard at first. Days 2-3 it got much better as it decompressed. After day 4 it was perfect. It totally conforms to our bodies and not so much as to have a sunken feeling that people complain about. If I lay on my side, it conforms and I really feel my spine is straighter compared to a spring bed. Laying on my back and stomach is the same.

Also, we can't feel when one of us get's out of the bed. So, we never wake up. I highly recommend the NovaForm Elite from Costco to anyone looking for the ultimate sleep experience. I still smile when I get into bed. It's simply "too cool".

We were hesitant on the purchase until I came to this site. I liked the comments and I also liked the fact that we can take it back if we didn't feel it was the quality we were looking for. However, we definitely won't be taking this mattress back.

UPDATE:
Got 5 hours sleep last night and feel like it was 8. Still love that mattress! Also, keep in mind that you need to give the bed at least two weeks for it to be 100%. 1 week for "filling" up and another just to get used to. While some may not like it, it may take you some time for your body to adjust to being straight for the first time! Every night we sleep on the Novaform it just gets more comfortable.

Also, I did not get a box spring for the bed. Initially, we laid it on the floor and slept on the floor for a week. I purchased a platform bed from Walmart. It was too small, so, I cut 3/4" particle board to fit the mattress and screwed it on top of the walmart platform. It is really solid, flat and perfect height. Anyway, make sure that you get a solid, flat base for the foam mattresses. It cost me over all about $120 for the base with the additional wood top I screwed in. By the way, for a queen the dimentions I used were 58" x 78" for the base where the mattress sits on. 59" x 79" would be fit perfectly. I wanted a 1" mattress overlay. Do not use a normal box spring in my opinion.

As for the other review that said he sank so low....I am 6'0" 207lbs. and I do not have the feeling that I'm sinking too low or any uncomfort whatsoever. Maybe you did not have a flat base for the mattress. That is important. My girlfriend is 5'4" 120lbs. fyi.

UPDATE:
It's been over a month now and I still love the bed. One thing I noticed was that the middle where we do not sleep is a bit stiffer (like the whole bed was initially) than the other parts where we do sleep. It is not a problem, just an observation. When my girlfriend is not home, I try to sleep in the middle to "break it in" so to speak. I am still very satisfied with the bed for the money. I could never go back to a spring mattress!

UPDATE:
It's been about 5 or 6 months now and I still enjoy getting in the bed. There is nothing like it. I can never go back to a normal mattress. The Novaform still kept it's shape/firmness and my back never hurts when I wake up. I still recommend this mattress without any hesitation.

UPDATE:
This will be my last update on the product. It's been a while since my last update. Possibly a year or more, I can't remember. The mattress is still outstanding. It always goes back to shape and is not sagging at all. Every night I get into the bed makes me smile with comfort. The only problem I see is that when you sleep in a spring mattress say, over--night somewhere, you will love the NovaForm even more when you get back home. I will never buy a spring mattress again!

UPDATE:
I figured I should update my experience being it is now July 2008. The bed is still comfortable and the shape/firmness is the same. I took all the covering off to wash it. It's a pain to do, but, I noticed that without the thick covering, the foam is much softer. I really prefer it without the thick cotton covering. Very soft, you really sink into the foam. Feels more like a tempur pedic that way. So, thought I would throw that out there for you.
