Good Equipment - Terrible Service!

Pros: Smooth Treadmills are well built and a good value for the price.

Cons: Customer service is abysmally bad!!! When it breaks you'll be SOL.
mmyles2001's Full Review: Smooth 5.0P Treadmill
I've had a Smooth 5.0P for just about a year now. It is a very well made machine for the money. I used to work in the fitness equipment industry so I'm well acquainted with a wide range of treadmills for both home & gym use. This machine is a good value. BUT, I recently had a problem with the control panel and it needs to be replaced under warranty. I have been trying for almost six weeks to get a replacement part sent. Email after email reconfirming serial numbers, restating the problem... they keep dropping the ball and the unit is still broken. For that reason alone I say stay clear. Sooner or later every treadmill requires service so good service is essential from whoever you buy from.
