Pros: Very reliable and quiet. Easy to fold and move around for it's size.
Cons: It would be nice if the hand rails could be raised/lowered.
The Bottom Line: Worth the price!

| sfoltz's Full Review: Smooth 5.0P Treadmill |
I'm new to treadmills, so I had to rely on in-store demos and user reviews like you see here. Not wanting to spend a lot for something I wasn't sure I'd stick with, I first looked at ProForm and Weslo, but I could tell these were cheaply built and noisier than I liked. I also looked at NordicTrack, but these seemed overpriced. I went with the Smooth after reading several reviews, including ones at TreadMillDoctor.com and decided the Smooth 5P was what I needed. I was a bit apprehensive about ordering something this large over the internet, because I figured it'd be a real pain to return. The product arrived as promised, in 2 weeks and was a lot easier to move from the garage to the spare room than I'd thought.
I've used this for 6 months and have found it to be completely safe and reliable, as well as reasonably quiet and unobtrusive.
Update:
We've had this for two years now and while it is tending to generate a bit more interference with the TV and lights (some flickering) it is still working flawlessly. I have to admit that this summer, it saw hardly any service as we prefer outside exercise over indoor. I still wish the hand grips were adjustable, though!
