Pros: power fold-up, heavy construction, stable, comfortable, durable, good investment!
Cons: too soon to tell...but, don't foresee any!
The Bottom Line: I find the Smooth 7.1 to be comparable to a commercial treadmill! Worth every dollar! I recommend giving it a try!

Little by little, one piece at a time, I have been putting together my own personal workout room! The room isn’t overly large. However, so far, I’ve managed to set up a corner home gym unit, an exercise bicycle, and my newest addition…a Smooth 7.1 treadmill!
I am no stranger to using a treadmill! Before I started working out at home, I held a membership to a local gym for several years. I frequented the gym 5-6 times during a typical week. And, I spent a great deal of time each week running on a treadmill! So, when I began my search for a treadmill to add to my workout room at home, I looked for one that was within my price range, that was sturdy and durable, that was easy to set up, that offered a comfortable workout, that had a good motor, and that was backed by decent warranties! The search seemed endless…but, my perseverance paid off! I was finally introduced to the new Smooth 7.1 treadmill!
The only downfall, that I could see, was that there was such a demand for this new treadmill that it was on back order, and I would have to wait about 3 weeks before one would be shipped to me! Oh, well! I had waited this long! Hopefully, this treadmill would be well worth the wait!
A little over three weeks later…last week, in fact…my new treadmill was delivered to my home! I immediately carried it into my workout room and put it together! I was very anxious to give it a try! So far, it has proven to be everything that I had hoped it would be! I find it to be an extremely comfortable machine, with its 20” x 54” running surface and its heavy unit weight of 260 pounds. When I’m running on my treadmill, there is no rocking or unstable feel to the machine! It appears to be quite sturdy and durable! The 2.5 HP Continuous-duty motor on my Smooth 7.1 treadmill runs smoothly, as well as quietly! A wonderful feature of the 7.1 treadmill is its power fold-up feature! If I need a little extra space to use my free weights or to do crunches or whatever, I can fold up my treadmill at the touch of a button and move it out of my way! The Smooth 7.1 also comes with 8 user programs and a free wireless Heart Rate Control! There’s also a dual backlit LCD for easy reading!
In addition to the many wonderful features of the Smooth 7.1 treadmill, Smooth Fitness backs this treadmill with a 10-year motor warranty, a 5-year warranty on the deck, rollers, and belt, and 3-year warranty on its electronics. Should anything need repaired on the treadmill within the first year, there is also a 1-year warranty to have it repaired in my home!
I’ve only had my treadmill for about a week, now! But, I’m confident that this purchase was a good move for me! I couldn’t be happier with my new 7.1!
