Pros: Sturdy, easy to assemble, a great buy, Programs, heart rate display. MADE IN THE USA!!!
Cons: a huge box. Never got the "free" mat.
The Bottom Line: Go ahead and shop around. You won't beat the sturdy construction and features on this model. I am satisfied beyond my expectations with this machine.

| alanmur's Full Review: Smooth 9.2 Series Treadmill |
I was tired of the 60 min roundtrip to the gym. I'm the kind of guy that spends time researching in order to get the best value for my dollar. I shopped around the fitness equipment specialty stores and the local sporting goods stores and picked the brains of various salesman. I looked at flimsy treadmills for around $1000 but decided I wanted something closer to gym quality. A salesman had me sold on a Landice for $3600. Then I went home to think about it. I got my Smooth on sale for $2099, delivered.
It was setup and running in under 30 mins. Literally, four bolts and plug it in. It took longer to get it out of the box (which was larger than my refrigerator and required a forklift to get it off the truck). It moves fairly easily on its two front wheels. Just pick up the back end and move it around like a wheelbarrow.
I saw some people writing about it displaying Kilojoules and not Cals. Mine has Cals so I guess they changed that.
We shall see how it holds up.
Next, an elliptical trainer and weight set. Then, I can let my 24hr gym membership expire.
