Pros: Good tasting, 24 vitamins/minerals, no metallic taste; no medicinal taste.
Cons: It isn't a full meal.
The Bottom Line: The Snapple people did as good a job with the meal replacement as they do with iced tea. It is tasty, appealing, and satisfying. I highly recommend it.

| Suzer's Full Review: Snapple-A-Day Strawberry Banana Meal Replacement |
Sometimes I just don't have time to make an elaborate breakfast or lunch, and I merely want something to grab, but I want to be filled up. I've tried products such as Slim Fast, and they tasted okay (if you don't mind the metallic taste of the can), but they aren't wonderful, nor are they satisfying for me. I saw the Snapple-A-Day Meal Replacement at the grocery counter aisle, and thought, perhaps it wouldn't be too disgusting. I do enjoy the Snapple Iced Tea products. By the same token, I wondered how a manufacturer of iced tea products segued over to meal replacement, and how that would work out. To say I was afraid to taste it would be a huge understatement. I was very afraid. On the other hand (not to age myself too much), I remember my Mom saying to me, "Let's wait and see how Honda does with cars. They make motorcycles." They seem to have done "okay" with the cars too!
Packaging:
The bottle is plastic and resealable. This eliminates the icky metallic and/or medicinal taste of the cans. How much do you get? 11.5 fluid ounces. The bottle is red with a blue cap. You won't think "diet" looking at the attractive and appealing bottle.
Flavors:
Reviewed here: Strawberry-Banana
Other flavors:
**Peach
**Tropical Blend
Ingredients:
Very high in both calcium, and also dietary fiber. It contains no cholesterol, 210 calories, rather than 220 as Slim-Fast contains. There is 7 grams of soy protein and zero fat; that's right, zero.

My impressions:
What I expected was a sour tasting diet-like product that I would end up pouring down the sink, and a desperate craving for a burger and fries. What did I find? A very tasty, smooth blend of strawberry and banana, though I noticed the strawberry more than the subtle banana. I was truly amazed, and found myself much more satisfied than I anticipated. The drink is not thick; nor is it thin and runny. It is truly like a smoothie and definitely more appealing than Slim-Fast, and similar meal replacement beverages.
Final thought and recommendations:
When I want to replace a meal with a beverage to lose weight, save time, take in a plethora of vitamins and minerals with a minimal expenditure of time and energy, I shall definitely grab one of the Snapple Meal Replacements. I am very pleased to have discovered this product. The fact that it contains soy additionally, is yet another benefit of the product. I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys a delicious fruit smoothie. Snapple, you've done it again. I am giving this product 4 stars.
