If you live in a city or town with hard water, you will be searching all avenues to find a product that will remove calcium deposits in your shower, sinks and toilets. I have searched for a product that will safely remove calcium deposits off of my shower and tub, tiles and bathroom sink which does not leave a strong chlorine type of smell. Search no further! I have found the solution and it I called Soft Scrub.
I do not like cleaning the kitchen or bathrooms but it has to be done. I have also searched high and low for the best products to make my cleaning a lot easier and Soft Scrub fit the bill and then some!
SOFT SCRUB DEEP CLEAN FOAMING CLEANSER
This product is very simple to use. Turn the nozzle from STOP (Off) to SPRAY (…). Spray onto your shower, tile or sliding shower door and allow it to do its work. For extra tough stains you will have to leave it for at least 3-4 minutes and then use a sponge to wipe off the residue.
Soft Scrub can be used on sinks, bath tubs, showers, shower doors, tile, toilet bowls, glass, chrome, faucets and fixtures. It cannot be used on wallpaper, wood, fabric, vinyl and painted surfaces.

Soft Scrub is an irritant to sensitive skin. Use a rubber glove when using this product if you have any skin sensitivities. It is also not recommended to be used with other cleaners. If swallowed, give a glassful of water and call your physician immediately.
ACTUAL USE IN THE HOUSE
I will admit sometimes I become lazy and allow the calcium to become such a problem that looking through the glass door of my shower looks like viewing London in a typical fog. When that happens, I reach for the Soft Scrub.
Because California is in a state of drought, I try to conserve water so before I take a shower, I usually clean the shower or tub then rinse with the water as the hot water arrives at my shower head. Usually it is about a minute. This way I kill two birds with one stone. You can also clean the shower after showering using the hot water to rinse off the residue.
Spray the entire area you wish to clean and using a sponge, wipe down the area you want to clean. I use a circular motion to clean the shower, tiled walls and shower glass/door. Soft Scrub leaves a nice scent that is not overbearing like other calcium stain removers.
If your faucets at encrusted with calcium deposits, spray Soft Scrub on the fixture and let it sit for a few minutes. Using a sponge, wipe any residue off. Rinse sponge with water and continue to clean the sink and even mirror too!
A WORD ABOUT CLEANING
Normally, I like a clean bathroom. Any water stains, calcium deposits or rust stains will not become a problem if the area is cleaned at least twice a week. Once you let it go for more than a week, you will find these deposits will only get worse. The best time to clean your bathroom is right after someone showers. The steam of the hot water acts like a cleaner and helps soften the deposits. When you use products such as Soft Scrub, the stain will be easier to remove. You should be cleaning your bathrooms even though it looks clean. By maintaining your bathroom, calcium and rust will have a really hard time settling in and will make your cleaning a lot easier.
THE BOTTOM LINE
I only recently found this product after years of using other brands and cleaners. Soft Scrub really works but you have to maintain your bathroom. For those with very hard water, you might have to purchase a water softener to remove the calcium in the water that supplies your home.
There is not hard scrubbing involved. Just spray on and wipe and you should be done. How can it get any better than that? I highly recommend Soft Scrub for you working Moms this cleaner will save at least 15-30 minutes of your time for doing other household chores. And I also recommend this for those men out there who are too lazy to clean their bathrooms.
