Every dog deserves an occasional treat, but some owners may feel reluctant to serve treats given the low quality ingredients. However, there are some treats that have extra benefits besides taste and one of them is Pedigree Good Bites Multi- Vitamin Dog Treats.

Final Thoughts:
Pedigree Good Bites Multi- Vitamin Dog Treats are a good dog treat with extra benefits in the form of added vitamins for a dog’s good health. Pedigree makes a few of these Good Bites treat products such as Hip and Joint, Dental Care, Senior, etc., each with some special ingredient to help a dog in a specific key area of health.
My past dogs have enjoyed Pedigree Good Bites Oral Health Formula and I had good luck with them, so it made sense to branch out and try one of the others in the Good Bites lineup. I decided on this, the multi- vitamin formula, because it seemed like a good choice for my dog’s life stage and knowing the treats were beef- flavored, I was completely confident my dog would like them.
Pedigree Good Bites Multi- Vitamin Dog Treats are, indeed, great tasting to a dog and trust me when I say that you will have no problem getting your dog to eat ten treats! As a matter of fact, you need to be careful because most dogs could easily consume the entire package in one sitting. The reason, of course, is the great beef flavor. Beef is a dog’s natrual food and most dogs go bonkers when theire noses detect the scent of beef. The scent of this dog treat will result in whines, whimpers, jumping, and wagging tails. Your dog will want one, then another, and then another.
Okay, so dogs love the taste, but what about the ingredients and other factors? Well, I must admit that there are some questionable ingredients like chicken by- product meal and many preservatives. But other treats have equally questionable ingredients if not worse, so I can’t necessarily cast my vote against them for that reason. They are, after all, dog treats and are not meant to be served by the pound. I this was a dog food with comparable ingredients, my opinon would change completely, but these are just dog treats. A few treats here and there, even if the ingredients are not the best, shouldn’t cause adverse effects to a dog’s health.
As for the added vitamins, this is a nice little extra and it is good for those who are concerned that their dog may not be getting enough vitamins in their daily diet. If you already serve your dog top- quality food, then extra vitamins won’t matter, but even if you do serve the best food, a few extra B- bitamins certainly can’t hurt.
Overall, I consider Pedigree Good Bites Multi- Vitamin Dog Treats one of the better dog treats around due to the flavor and added nutrition. I agree that they are small and do not last very long, but they still have plenty to offer and they outrank most of the dog treats on the market.
