Pros:- Two receivers.- Portable- Battery operated or plug-in
Cons:- Interference cause of people walking around.- Unable to take it outside.
The Bottom Line: I recommend this product. It is a good product with minimal interference issues. I can move the receivers around as needed without worrying about where to plug them in.
My husband and I purchased this product just before our first child arrived in March of 2011. We have been using it for just over four months now and it has been great! Since it has two receivers, I was able to keep one in the master bedroom and have the second one in my sister's room when she was babysitting. Also, since the receivers have batteries as well as an AC adaptor, I can carry it around to whatever part of the house I need it in. I haven't used the voice activated function yet. I'm sure I'll do that as he gets older. The only interference issues that I have had with this product is when somebody steps directly in between the base and the receiver or when I try to take one of the receivers outside. When either of these happens, the receiver starts beeping like it is out of range, or sometimes beeps and crackles with static. My husband finds that highly annoying when we are sitting down for supper. I saw that my neighbor even has the same set but we haven't had an interference problems there. We have also not had any problems with our cordless phones, microwave, or other electronics causing interference.
