| pbspmjb's Full Review: Sony BRAVIA KDL-26S3000 26 in. HDTV TV |
I have been debating purchasing an LCD TV for several years and finally took the plunge with the Sony KDL-26S300. I could not be happier. My previous TV was a Philips 27" (CRT) and as I never had a problem with it, my other consideration for its replacement was a 32" Philips LCD. I did look at ALL of the TV's in the stores (mind you on numerous occasions over a wide spread of time) both big and small but in the end the Sony won hands down. The picture is just incredible.
Although I have a large living room and could easily fit a 60" TV in the room, I really did not want a "wall of TV" in my living space. This little TV is perfect for me and even the 32" Philips seemed overkill size wise. Look at this TV next to a larger one and you will see that bigger is not always better.
I guess this TV is being phased out for a newer model and I was able to get mine for $693.00. I also had a 10% coupon (from AAA) and it was the floor model. Total impulse buy though for the price I could not resist!
I highly recommend this TV, I watched "Legends of the Fall" on it the night I bought it and was blown away by how much detail I missed when I watched it on my old TV. Given the opportunity to upgrade your primary TV (or perhaps an unobtrusive TV for the bedroom) definitely take a look at the Sony BRAVIA KDL-26S3000! You will be pleased.
