| triplaxis's Full Review: Sony CLIE® PEG-S320 Handheld |
The Sony CLIE S320 is a decent and simple PDA. The purpose of the PDA is straightforward in that its use is mostly for scheduling and such. Although Sony coins it as an entertainment device, the low quality photo viewer and video playback is hardly entertaining.
Vis-a-vis other PDAs in it's class, the S320 is comparable but it does stand out with it's stylish silver looks and the jog dial navigator which allows for navigation without using the stylus. However, the fact that no cradle is included makes synchronization cumbersome as the cables must always be plugged in. The same goes for the charging of the internal lithium-ion battery.
For the price, the Sony is an excellent deal. If you already own Sony memory sticks then upgrading the memory is no problem and the batter life is quite good (15-20 days).
