Okay let me break down the problems of this camera. It is a great camera, but let me point out what is wrong and solutions to it.
1.) The biggest problem people have is burry pictures!
Actually this is pretty much the only problem. This of course ruins the pictures completely, but I'll show why our getting blurry shots.
Two reasons why your getting blurry shots things.
One, the lens is very small so it has to stay open longer for a picture. The size of the lense can't be avoided because it is a compact camera. However you won't come across this problem with
Sunny outside shots
Indoor w/flash.
The main problem comes with indoor without flash. If you aren't in telephoto, and concentrate on keeping the camera still you can get a good picture. It takes practice but I'm okay with it now. Best solution is to keep it on something solid or on a tripod.
Two, the focus adjusts twice to get a better focus. If you are just pushing down on the camera button you are doing it wrong. Always push half way down (to let it focus and/or meter) then one it is done push all the way down. Even people who do this get blurry pictures cause think it has already focused. The camera focuses once, then refocuses to get a better picture. However, when it starts to refocus it blurs the already focused image significantly. So pushing the button when you first think its focused will end up givng you a blurred one. Just wait and be patient.
Well thats it. Overall its a great buy. Ya people will say things like the colors aren't the best, or things like that. Ya compared to be a camera over a 1,000 dollars, but for the price, I think this is hands down the best camera. If waiting to focusing is a big pet peeve, ya you might wanna look at another camera like cannon's models in this price range. However I think this is the the best camera in its price range.
