Forgot to ask - you mentioned that your photoshop friend much prefers Canons for their quality over Sony. Can you elaborate? Are Canons as good as this in low light? What are the pros of Canons?

Thanks for the extensive review! I'm curious about your shots of your nephew (i.e., kids). We have a baby and 2.5 year old and it's important that this camera work well indoors, in action shots, and even without the flash (since you can't do a lot of shots in a row with the flash). Can you comment further? Think this is the camera for me?
