I got this camera last month for around Rs.10000. It's a good digicam with a throttling 14.1 MP lens, 4X optical zoom, 2.7" Lcd.   It surely gives great results !!!  The Hi-def movie  is amazing, not less than a sony Handycam.!
 Face detection is obvious but it has also got 'Smile detection' feature......it clicks when we smile. the smile intensity can also be selected !! In face detection feature, we can select the number (1 or 2 ) of faces. When it detects the pre-selected number of faces, it clicks.
It's got another feature of 'Panoramic View' in which we can capture 270degrees of surroundings in the same image....! ......we have to rotate the camera while capturing the image upto 270degrees (Direction of rotation can also be selected). 
We can also do few editings on the image. In the slideshow, we can enable sounds and effects too !!   
It has also got 'Red-eye Reduction' feature. The only thing that I don't like abuot it is that each image use around 5Mb's of memory, if we click in the 14MP mode. Other mode are VGA, , 5MP, 10MP. (2MP and 11MP modes are also available for viewing on HD-TV's). The difference between these modes shows up only when we zoom-in. My suggestion is to use the VGA mode as it uses only around 140KB's of memory.(compare 140KB's and 5MP's !!!) 
 Modes for movie recording are Fine, standard and VGA.  I got this camera with 4gb micro SD card, lithium-ion battery,A/V out, USB Cord, 1 carrying pouch and charger, user's guide, and its CD-ROM for PMB(Picture Motion Browser).
