A good system, especially if it is on sale.

Pros: Pretty to look at, and clear sounding

Cons: poorly designed remote,a little pricey but it is a Sony, so what to you expect.

The Bottom Line: I would recommend this system, especially if you find it on sale.

Overall, I liked the system. It is a little pricey though. But I got mine on sale for $1199 Canadian (about $800 US), so too me that was not too bad. Some people complained about the bass being non-existent, maybe if you live in a football stadium; to me it was fine. My walls and floors of my house shook with every explosion. Of course, Bass is all subjective isn't it? The remote is difficult to master and poorly designed. As well, it is near impossible to operate in the dark. The system is easy to setup, a monkey could do it. And for me, since I am not an audiophile, that is a good thing. I unpacked and setup the unit in less than a half an hour.

Overall though, I was happy with my purchase.
