Pros: 5 CD changer for DVD/CD, flashy looking speakers, 450 watts of speaker power
Cons: Speakers are deceptively weak,pricey
The Bottom Line: Unless you really need the easy set up and loaded options, I would pass on this system. The sound quality is lacking.

| ats3322's Full Review: Sony DAV-C900 Theater System |
Generally, Sony's products are well-worth their inflated prices. However, in this case one cannot be so sure. Sony has once again created a aesthetically attractive product fit for almost every family room. Yet, better systems exists and even some for far better prices. Even the Dolby Digitcal decoding seem somewhat limited by the lack of speaker power. While in a smaller room this system would be fine, the sound begins to sound airy an trebble heavy in larger areas.
Despite this the product is relatively easy to set up (color coded wires and plugs are immensely valuable) and this system has all the features that one would expect in an expensive home audio system.
