I think I'm in love. What a rarity in the cyber world--or the world in general, for that matter: a reviewer who writes in clear, intelligent, helpful, relevant, user-friendly, non-geek English. "O, speak again, bright angel..." If only thou wert near at hand to clarify my every cyber-question and digital-doubt...Alas, I shall have to be content with reading your reviews here, and hope that you will choose to speak about that which I fain would understand.

I'm a firm believer in Sony's digital8 format. I've had mine (Basic model, without the LCD screen) since they first introduced the format and have found that it performs just as well, if not better (in some cases) than many MiniDV units I've used. The more features Sony adds to a Digital8 unit, well, that just makes it that much better. Digital8 really is a great value all the way around. Nice job on the review BTW.
