Pros: Very Good Video quality. Ability to record MPEGS on Memory Stick, and much more!
Cons: Keep your digital camera for the stills. So-So battery life, especially with included battery.
The Bottom Line: Forget those over-priced MiniDV's. If you want to go digital this is the camcorder to get!

You can't go wrong with a Sony. The features of this digital8 camcorder are awesome. I am very glad I made the decision I did! From Sony's Night Shot Mode, right down to its editing capabilities this camera will meet every need in your book. The only draw backs are its so-so still images, and the short battery life (with supplied battery). I bought A larger battery on ebay that will last over 3 hours on one charge for $30. Sony sells the same battery for $100. Just be sure to keep your still digital camera and splurge for the extra battery and you won't be sorry!
