Unless you are a professional it would be almost impossible to outgrow this camera. It can switch from Camcorder to Digital camera to VCR with the simple flick of a switch which makes it such a versatile product. Images are high quality, the lens provides great versatility, the viewfinder is awesome and being able to review your pictures and video right as your taking them is extremely handy.The video quality is excellent, though it does have a tendency to pick up a bit of noise from the tape mechanism.The supplied battery is good for about one hour with LCD use and about hour and a half using viewfinder.One A minor downside is some of the buttons are in some odd places,they also been made too small and it's easy to be mistaken.With this in mind I'would say I find the design very ergonomic-it sits quite well and balanced in my palm when recording either if I'm using the viewfinder or the LCD display.
