Pros: lasts long, attractive looking, you can drop it a lot and it doesn't freak out.
Cons: skips in the car, short battery life (like all cd players, though)

| kristen.e.peas's Full Review: Sony Walkman D-E251 Personal CD Player |
This is one of the best portable cd players that I have ever bought. Although this player has a few faults, it's more dependable than any other brand out there (maybe with the exception of an Aiwa, but they are made by the same company).
It has some great features like :
ESP2 - i suppose this is like mega ESP, but regular old ESP has always done it for me.
mega bass (a.k.a. more bass than anyone could ever hope for)
a hold switch, which comes in handy when there are pesky kids around.
it resumes play if you stop the cd player.
it has really good volume control. don't you just hate it when you can't get your cd player loud enough?? i have had that problem with other players, but not this one!
These are features that almost every cd player has now, but I believe that this CD player is better quality than the others out there, and it will last a lot longer.
The only thing that does not work so well is when you hook it up in the car. The cd player catches every single scratch on the cd. For some odd reason it does not skip when you listen to it regularly (with headphones), but it does when it is hooked up in the car through the tape deck and lighter outlet.
This cd player is a great buy for regular listening, but if you want it for the car, i suggest you just get a system put in by the friendly people at Best Buy.
