Well this is a piece of quality equipment. First off I just want to state that I use this thing everywhere and I have had it for about half a year and it is still in perfect shape. This cd player has several very nice little minor things which adds to its perfection.
This device allows for any person to use it to its fullest. A very nice feature is the sound adjustment. The sound is adjusted with buttons and not a nob that can accidently twisted or turned. The play, stop, forward and reverse buttons are all on 1 little pad that has little bumps in the shape of the button that you want. This makes it easy to feel what you are pressing so that you dont have to look at to press play or stop or change songs. The esp is very nice because when I am either running, riding my bike or white water kayaking it never skips at all. There are 2 sound settings that allow the same song to sound much different. There is the normal setting which has no bass, then there is the bass setting which gives you a good amount of bass and it sounds awsome, then if you really want to here it rumble then you set it to the groove setting which you can really notice. You can also set up the cd player to either repeat a group of songs or play the intro or randomize the entire cd so you dont know what you will hear next. The hold button is a life save because when you are biking or kayaking you dont want to have to adjust the settings at all becaues you cant. With the hold button the sound level and play mode stays the same, and the only way to turn the hold off is to press and hold the HOLD button for about 5 to 10 seconds. Last but definetly not the least is that this cd player can be dunked under about 10 feet of water and be held there for quite a while with out a problem. Now that is a feature that rules. So if you accidently drop in some water then it will be fine. The shock proof case is also very nice, I just last week dropped it from about 4 feet up and there wasnt even a scratch.
So i would rate this device very highly in my opinion is high quality and is well worth your money. It will last you as long as you want without a problem.
