It's about time CD players came around to adding an AM/FM radio. With that in mind, this CD player is a decent buy for the price. You can program the CD player easily to many different radio stations digitally to get the best tuning possible.
The CD sound quality; however, is not that great. I have found that when the sound is turned high, which is not really that loud, the quality of the sound lessens. It becomes even worse when the Mega Bass sound is put on. The sound when the music hits the bass enacts an annoying vibration. This may be due to the Adaptor or headphone connection, but in any instances makes me want to turn the Mega Bass off. I find the player to skip more than my previous player which was 10 seconds, even though this one is 20 second plus. But it is definitely very workable when jogging. It is kind of bulky but if you hold it with one hand it's not that bad.
I'm very confident that this player with last pretty long, since it is a Sony. If you are very abusive, though, it may only last around 2 years-that's what happened to my previous Sony player. It is a very good idea to pay a little extra for warrantee.
