this was my first camcorder, and i was impressed with the features that came with my 380 bucks i spent. i use the camcorder to film me and my buddies doing hanus acts. (bmvmovies@hotmail.com - check it out!!)
features
night shot - great for 0 lux situations. i used it almost all the time when i first got the cam, and still use it from time to time. fun to mess around with
steady shot - good feature for reducing shaking of shots from hand. noticable improvements compared to other cams i have owned.
effects - i dont use the effects much because i edit my movies with adobe premiere, and i jus apply them on the pc
ease of use
the cam is small compared to others before it, but is bigger next to the newer cams, especially next to a mini dv cam. the supplied usb cord is not sufficient for uploading to a pc, rather i purchased a firewire cord and card and that works great!!
this cam is good for the beginner, and i am sorry to say that i am upgrading to a more industrial model, but the features on this cam are great for the price!!
