| jmey's Full Review: Sony Ericsson AF-738 Cell Phone |
As a busy family we have serious communication needs, we have 3 computers with internet access, 3 phone lines, 2 beepers and 1 cell phone. The cell phone is the most valuable for emergency communications.
I have 2 growing children and started with a beeper for them to use to contact me, but many times there was not a phone nearby for me to call. I started checking out cell phones. I was worried about the cost vs need issues and decided to give it a try.
I went to the mall and looked at all the phones, I knew I wanted digital, just did not know why? I found out easier to transmit and much less expensive. I also knew I wanted a pocket size phone and NOT a flip phone, that the door could break on. I also knew I NEEDED durability. I went to all the merchants at the mall and got some outrageous prices for a few features. I did not need call waiting or beeper, cell, computer connections. I just wanted a plain inexpensive useable phone, nothing complicated. Radio Shack was offering my phone for 1 cent with a 50.00 deposit, a 30.00 a month basic plan and 5.00 unlimited weekends and nights. SOLD!!!
I just love my Ericksson cell phone, I have owned this phone for over a year now and have NO problems, crystal clear communucations and better than average rates. I like the flexable antenna, the cost of charger and adds on were reasonable. Best of all this phone has been dropped, kicked, left on the dashboard and still works great. I highly recommend this phone
