Pros: Small as a Startac, 4 nams, timeless style, works better than Digital
Cons: So small you need to keep track of it or get a leather case with belt hook

| adamwalterjr's Full Review: Sony Ericsson AF-738 Cell Phone |
I bought an Ericsson AF-738 on sale as a gift. It is an exceptionally well designed phone for analog cellular service. I had no idea how nice it actually worked. I borrow the phone back whenever I travel. Its small light and you can clearly see the talk/end buttons while driveing or at night. Another benefit is the flip to answer you can do it easily with one hand. I have digital service (CDMA) when I used the Ericsson for the first time I couldnt believe the voice quality. Talking on the Ericsson is like talking on a home phone line voice has good fidelity and the signal is reliable everywhere I go and I travel allot. Not so with the digital voice has poor fidelity, service drops and echos and in allot of places the phone is useless because there is no service. When I travel I wouldnt consider taking my digital phone especially now that I found the Ericsson has four NAMS so I can get the most economical service all over the continent. This phone impressed me so much I have to negoiate a trade so I can get it back. Its an excellent product it does exactly what it is supposed to without having to fiddle with it. You can spend allot more money but you wont get a nicer phone. Highly Recommended
