Pros: Compact size
Cons: Long connection time, unit gets hot.
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend the 788 model series to anyone unless they do not mind the long wait to dial and the heat radiating from the ear piece.

| mariahsaunt's Full Review: Sony Ericsson KF-788 Cell Phone |
After using the same brand of cellular for 3 years I decided to take the recommendation of my local Ericsson dealer and make the switch to an Ericsson. From day one, I had problems with the phone. It took an average of 2 minutes from the time I hit the 'send' button, to the time the phone began to dial. This concerned me in that in an emergency situation, every second counts. With my Ericsson I would have been out of luck.
The second problem was that the phones ear piece was getting warmer and warmer the longer my phone call went.
After getting the brush off from my local Ericsson dealer, that had so highly recommended this phone, I gave up and sought the advice of another dealer. It seems that the dealer was getting numerous complaints similar to mine. After weeks of discussions with the place that sold me my Ericsson I finally was able to exchange the Ericsson for a Nokia. I am much happier with my new phone.
