Pros: great wireless phone, especially for the price.
Cons: does not have a vibrating battery.
The Bottom Line: Great phone with a lot of talk time.A strong dependable phone. I recommend this Ericsson phone.

Now here is a great quality phone for less! the ericsson R280lx is one of few internet-ready wireless phones. The "pocket net" phone has been selling across the U.S. like mad. I have seen many people use this phone in my area. If you go to AT&T, you can get this phone for practically nothing.
This phone has many different features that may come in handy to most people. The phone side is basically pretty simple to use. If you had an ericsson in the past, this is cake. The phonebook allows you to store 400, that's right, 400 names and numbers.It's good to know who is programmed in each number so you could just press that number and then the yes button to send. Her is an example..... say you have position 3 open, store your info on the person who will be the lucky contestant for that position, next time you want to call them, you press the #3 button and hold the yes button.This is great compared to the old nokia 5160. That phone only stored 99. Good grief!
The message section on the phone is easy to learn. It's kind of like using the force to get your X-wing fighter out of the swamp(with yoda of course). This section shows you your voicemail and text messaging.( Really all you have to do is program your voicemail in #1 of your phonebook).To set up your voicemail, do the following.... when you select the messages on your menu, click on your voicemail. You will then see two options, call or configure. go to configure and put your mobile phone number in.(area code not important)Once you have finished that, hold down the star button until you see this......""".....that is your pause, so you will not have to enter you pin everytime you check your voicemail.
Now let's go straight to the part that makes this phone great. The web/ internet side. Let me tell you about some things you can check from your phone..............stocks, sport scores and news, local news, world news, lottery numbers, shopping, flight information, recipes, horoscopes, aol, yahoo, white/ yellow pages, mapquest, casinos, people search, real estate, weather channel, espn, ebay, e-mail, and many more.I won't talk much about this because I want you to see It for yourself.This will come in handy for a lot of people, man or woman.
The great parts of this phone is the web/internet side, the phone is user-friendly, and it is a dependable phone to have.
The downfall of the phone is that it does not have enough stand-by time on the battery. This phone has a lot of talk time though.No vibrating battery for this phone either.
