Pros: Joystick Control, Lightweight, Bright backlight
Cons: Cheaply made.
The Bottom Line: Stay as far away from this phone as possible. Ask the salesperson for a solid, durable phone, chances are the Ericsson won't even be mentioned.

| beardogs's Full Review: Sony Ericsson T61LX Cell Phone |
After having the Ericsson for only a month, I was fairly impressed with the phone. I loved the look and feel initially, but there was a flaw in the screen. The screen cracked without any damage to the outside lens or case. The screen is now blank with black goo marbled through it. We had an Ericsson phone about 4 years ago, and it was a solid phone. Never had any problems with it. After the first Ericsson we went to a Nokia, which was built like a tank. (I slipped outside with the phone in my pocket, still worked fine, not even a ding on it) After changing service to AT&T wireless, they offered us a new Ericsson T61-LX. The phone looked good and seemed to offer us all the options we were looking for. Little did we know, it was a piece of junk. The phone wasn't dropped, bumped or anything, it was inside my purse in a HEAVILY PADDED zippered section. AT&T doesn't agree with my comment about a possible flaw in the screen, because that is the only possible reason that the screen could have cracked. Never again. Buy a Nokia it will last you years.
We are now faced with a $150 bill to buy a new phone, or a $250 bill for ending service with AT&T. The Ericsson is not under warranty for the screen, even with only 30 days on the warranty.
Gotta Love Sony and AT&T.......NOT
