My wife and I decided to buy this TV after being convinced by my brother-in-law. We paid $1499.99. In short, the TV is so much better than I could ever imagine. For the time being, I'm convinced rear projection is the way to go. The HD broadcasts are stunning, and even SD is great. I have the TV connected to my 700W home theater system and loving it.
