I purchased this radio originally as a shower radio. However, as I came to find out, this radio was much more than just a shower radio. In addition to being water resistant and very useful in the shower, I also use it outside of the shower. It is very portable and has excellent AM reception as well as excellent FM, TV, and weather reception. The AM reception is better than any clock radio I have ever owned. The buttons are all waterproof and easy to use even in the dark. The sleep feature allows me to use it as my primary clock radio when going to sleep. Many times I will place the radio under my pillow and listen to the radio so as not to disturb my wife. After I have fallen sound asleep the radio shuts off automatically. It can also wake me up in the morning with its alarm. The digital tuning is extremely accurate and locks onto the stations extremely well. I bring it with me whenever I travel because of its excellent reception and the reception of the clock radios in hotel rooms is horrible. Recently I was in Washington D.C. and picked up my favorite station from Boston on it!!! Finally, it is incredibly durable. It has fallen on the floor of my shower, bathroom tile, and bedroom rug more times than I care to remember, and it just keeps on working with not even a scratch. So if you’re looking for an incredibly portable, functional, easy to use, durable, quality portable radio.
