Why this reviewer is untrustworthy:

This reviewer made the mistake of calling this notebook light, when in fact, professional reviewers say this notebook is quite hefty. From, PCMagazine.
"The slot-loading mechanism is much nicer than the old tray-loading mechanism of the iBooks, and any PC laptop user will be especially envious when they see it work."
Slot-loading is thought of as a disadvantage by advance users since they fail to load mini-discs. Another opinionated and wrong fact.
"Battery life is excellent. With the screen brightness turned down a few notches and performance set to "reduced", I get 3.5 to 4 hours typical use. With performance set to "highest" I get 2.5 to 3 hours. When you turn down the performance to "reduced", large web pages don't scroll quite as smoothly and game performance is hit, but otherwise everything feels about as responsive. "
Intel technology now beats that battery-life. Lack of research.
"PC laptop users are so jealous of that! Many PC laptops take several hours to charge if you are using them at the same time!"
Un-needed comment targeted towards users of PC machines.

Thanks iBen. Sorry about the ear info, but you should read what other reviewers said about the whole ear wax thing... Yikes!
I have to admit, I gave these headphones to my roommate when I bought a new set. He listens to tons of techno stuff, so he loves the bass, while I listen to lots of acoustic stuff, so I love my B O A8 headphones. There are already plenty of good reviews on the A8s - they have awesome sound detail, but the bass is not anywhere near as strong as these Sony headphones I reviewed. Oh heck, maybe I'll review them. Take care...

maybe a little bit too much information about your ear hygiene but excellent nonetheless...
"breach the seal" ... the words "breach" and "ear canal" sounds unpleasant together. :-)
Great review. I need to chuck my aging iPod headphones.
