jaggedblade's Full Review: Time Crisis for PlayStation 1
Time Crisis: Project Titan from Namco is one of my favorite game. This game has an okay plot. A head honcho from somewhere was assasinated and you were blamed for it. Now you have to prove your innocence by killing everyone you see on the screen. When you play the game you should not even care about the plot. This is a fun game. It has graphics that will keep you entertained, but sound which is horrible. The graphics are not state of the art, but enough so you can see some face detail and know you are not just shooting at cardboard dummies. They actually spent some time in making it. All you can hear
There are two modes. Choose easy if you are a first time player. It gives you more lives. This game is very unrealistic. You have twenty guys shooting you and lo and behold, they are all missing!!!! The AI for them is really bad and they cannot shoot if they had two guns and you were a fish in a barrel. That is the most unrealistic aspect I have ever seen. These people are in a trained army working for the drug cartel and you can gun them down so easily? That is really stupid, but gives you a major advantage over them. The other unrealistic part is the guys and gals keep coming. Is there a machine that makes them or something? They just never let up. It is fun for the first day or so, but after that it is boring.
You can buy Guncon several places. The Guncon is expensive, but worth the money. You can shoot accuratley and when holding the gun you feel like you are really in the game. This game is a piece if crap without it.You can buy the game and the Guncon for thirty bucks at Babbages which is the best deal you will find.
This game is an okay game that is pretty fun. It will really make the game better if you purchase the Guncon with it. Still this game is still okay so you do not need to cross the street to avoid it.
