This is a very nice lightweight AM/FM radio headset from Sony.
I have owned this Sony Walkman set now for a couple of years, and have gotten thousands of hours of radio time out of them. They are very durable, as nothing has gone wrong while listening to them for 40 hours every week in a factory type setting.
This Sony Walkman headset features a local/distant switch as well as an option for mega-bass, which makes your favorite tunes sound all the better as you crank em up. The sound quality is respectable for the price.
They operate on only one battery, which will save you
some money in the long run. Using the mega-bass feature as well as continuously listening with the volume cranked up does drain the battery a bit faster. A single battery normally lasts me for more than 2 weeks while listening for 8 hours a day at work.
Reception of your favorite radio stations seem pretty good, indoors and out. The only time I have had a reception problem was when I am at work near a lot of electrical equipment.
This Sony Walkman headset is easily adjustable to fit the size of your head and it stays held in place quite nicely. I did notice some discomfort at first from the rubber piece that hangs the radio on your ears, but this went away after a little bit of use as the rubber softened up a bit.
After many hours of listening, this Sony walkman headset has proven itself to be a winner.
