The laptop worked smoothly straight from the box. There wasn't too much clutter of literature in the box either.
Processor was reasonably fast. Even though the hard drive was trumpeted to be massive,I was stunned to discover that the pre-installed programs took a whopping 18 GIG of space leaving only 22 GIG of actual capacity.
At 8+ pounds, the GRX 570 wasn't difficult to carry around - so far (I've had it for less than one week). The key board is uncomfortable and clunky.
I found the image quality exceptional. The video & jpeg files I looked at on it were very clear and lifelike. I used to have a Compaq and the Sony is far superior.
