Pros: Superb Radio, CD & Cassette, excellent tone and sub-woofer controls.
Cons: Remote is an optional item. No mp3 capability.
The Bottom Line: If your vehicle can take a Double-DIN unit I highly recommend this stereo. Solidly built, great quality.

This is my first Double-DIN stereo as I've always used either DIN or DIN 1/2 car stereos in the past. I am extremely impressed with the Sony WX-4500X in overall performance. I've owned and tested units made by Alpine, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Eclipse, Kenwood, Nakamichi, Pioneer, Rockford Fosgate and factory units made by Delco, Fujitsu Ten and Chrysler. This model Sony has absolutely the best radio reception (AM & FM)of any the above mentioned aftermarket units and rivals the Factory made units in the area of AM fidelity and reception. The AM reception of most aftermarket stereos suck. FM reception of this Sony is superb. Performance of the CD and Cassette are excellent as well.
It's very nice having the ability to play both my CD's and Cassette's in my 4Runner. The unit's main functions are a little different that most car stereo's so you'll need to read to operating manual to get used to the differences.
