As a parent you feel helpless, and want to do anything you can to help your child feel comfortable when they are sick. Johnson's Soothing Vapor Bath is the thing to use to open up their airways, soothe their aching muscles, and calm them down before bedtime.
On back of the bottle it says recommended for babies 3 months and older, so check with your babies' doctor to be safe before using Johnson's Soothing Vapor Bath on your little ones.
I used it on my now 18-month-old daughter, Jordan, when she got sick with an upper respiratory infection and ear infection when she was around 4-months old. Jordan was so miserable, not being able to breath, coughing, and couldn't lay down to fall asleep without crying. We went out and bought Johnson's Soothing Vapor Bath to see if it would help her breath easier and help her in falling asleep.
I heard so many great things about Johnson's Soothing Vapor Bath from friends and family, so I wanted to see for myself how it works for my little baby girl.
You put in 3 capfuls for regular size tub and 1 capful for baby bathtub, and swirl with hand to distribute evenly. As soon as we put Jordan in the bathtub we could see her stuffed up nose clearing up. With its gentle vapors of rosemary, eucalyptus, and menthol it soothed her enough that when I took her out of the tub and after getting her dressed she fell asleep within minutes, and sleep so peacefully the whole night.
I have even started used it on occasions to help Jordan relax before bedtime, even when Jordan isn't sick. Jordan has had a hard time falling asleep lately, and likes to fight when I put her down for the night. I was willing to try anything to calm her down so she could sleep. So out came Johnson's Soothing Vapor Bath from the bathroom cupboard, and into her baby bathtub. The scents and warmness of the water really helps calms her down, eventually she is smiling and laughing, while playing with her toys in the tub. After I get Jordan dried off, dressed in her pajamas, read a bedtime story, and rock her she eventually drifts off to a peaceful sleep.
Johnson's Baby Soothing Vapor Bath won't dry out a baby's sensitive skin and leaves skin feeling soft and leaves a nice scent. One thing that is great is Johnson's Soothing Vapor Bath is a No More Tears formula so it won't irritate a baby's eyes if accidentally splashed. Johnson's is doctor recommended and proven safe.
Johnson's Soothing Vapor Bath comes in either a 9 or 15 ounce clear, unbreakable, plastic bottle, which is great, so when you accidentally drop it won't shatter all over your bathroom floor. The snap up lid is easy to open and close.
