Cons:none
The Bottom Line: Bottom line if your into fighting games with great graphics playing time and boobs this is a great selection. If your not into boobs and find it offensive stay away.

Soul Calibur 4 is another great Soul Calibur game, this game is keeping the series going ever stronger. Soul Calibur is a 3d fighting game. Soul Calibur is developed by Project soul and released in July 29 2008. Soul Calibur is a series of fighting games that give you very good game play. Me and many of my friends have been into playing the Soul Calibur games since high school. Soul Calibur 4 was a game that we couldn't wait to play once we found out a new Soul Calibur was on it's way.  Soul Calibur 4 has stepped it up a notch and here are some of the reasons why. The story consist of fighters that are good or evil. Depending on who you choose will alter how the story goes. The main plot to the story is Soul Edge. This is a power full weapon that the good fighters are trying to destroy, or the bad fighters trying to possess.

Fighters in Soul Calibur 4
Algol, Amy, Angol Fear, Ashlotte, Astaroth, Cassandra, Cervantes, Hilde, Hong Yun-Seong, Ivy, Kamikirimusi, Kilik, Maxi, Mitsurugi, Nightmare, Raphael, Rock, Scheherazade, Seong Mi-na, Setsuka, Shura, Siegfried, Sophita, Taki, Talim, Tira, Voldo, Xianghua, Yoshimitsu, Zasalamel

Star Wars Fighters
You can Choose from Yoda 360 Darth Vader ps3 or the Apprentice

One great feature of Soul Calibur 4 is it's amazing graphics, now for the first time in HD, these are breath taking graphics for a modern day fighting game. Me and my friends agree that there are not many fighting games we have seen to this date that compare to Soul Calibur 4. The graphic movement is just beautifull with clothes that wave in the air as your striking your opponent, or having muscles rippling down as your getting smashed in the body. Special attacks trigger great visual effects as well. One area that the graphics exceed in, are the boobs for the female fighters. Soul Calibur has done a great job on these but now, well they definitely put some work in this. With some of the most huge jiggly breasts I've ever seen in fighting games. They even have a picture area where you can view the fighters, in posses or attacking, getting hit, that stuff. Your fighter and map run smoothly together not giving any glitching or blotching appearances that a lot of fighter games have. The graphics for your custom fighter is very good as well, Lot's of games that allow you to build your own character usually looks sloppy and poorly designed to the other characters on the game, but not here. So far I have not seen a single thing to complain about when it comes to the graphics so I would give the graphics a 9/10 .

Sound quality?
The sound quality in SC4 was done very well. the music for SC4 was done very well. There soundtrack is not covered in ridiculous music that makes you want to mute it, although most people prefer to hear the music that they enjoy from radio's or cds. There are much music from the past Soul Calibur's as well as new music and even some Star Wars music thrown onto it. Voice character expressions were done very well giving the right voice for the right moment, your fighter doesn't sound happy when he's loosing. Me and my friends always have a blast when a fighter is making fun of another for loosing. The fighting sounds were also done very well. The sound of swords smashing armour or the sound of your fighter as they get hit by a weapon or ringed out has a "rich" sound. There is no weakness in the sound area. I would have to give sound quality a 8/10, I've heard better sound quality on other games but not many fighter games top this.

The game play excels in SC4 this is where the fun begins. SC4 has some unique features that differ this from most of the Soul Calibur's. In a way SC4 is going back to how they use to do the first Soul Calibur's. The RTS capability that the last several Soul Calibur's had no longer exists, I like RTS games but this is not the place for it. SC4 is also going into the On line play which was not a earlier option. but, battling is the funnest part of all. SC is probably my most favorite fighting games. You control a fighter on a 3d setting. You have full movement from side to side and front to back, or take it in the air with power full strikes from above. SC4 has many different areas to play in here are some of them. The on line is a whole new SC way to play. Now you can fight people on line. I have not played a whole lot on line but I have heard that people run into problems. Lott's of people have complained about joining a quick match and getting a message This game session is full. One important factor to on line play is Internet connection and the people you are playing. This is one area that can never be guaranteed. There are a lot of people with bad connection and people that thrive from  frustrating others.

Of course there is the story mode. Here you can choose from a good or evil fighter to take part on there story. Fighters have different story's where they fight selected fighters based on the story given to them. I think the biggest flaw back in the game is how the story mode is so short. It just seems like they should have put more depth into the story mode. In the earlier Soul Calibur's the story and versus mode was were it was all at, which is why I think Soul Calibur got so famous. Arcade you must fight selected fighters until you reach a boss, this is a pretty common feature on fighting games so I wont really bother here. Then there's the tower of souls which is new. tower of souls is a place that you must put your skill to the test. Fighting many enemy's to improve your fighting skill a good fight even for the well experienced gamers. Here you must ascend or descend various battles selecting different fighters depending on how far you are. There are up to 60 levels I believe but I have not beaten all of them yet. Then there's the Training mode well, this pretty much explains itself, here you master in on your skills and combos.

The controls are fairly easy to use in SC4 they have designed the controls to be more easier to get the hang of. I have found this to be the SC with the most easiest controls I had some troubles getting the hang of the older ones. The controls consists of all sorts of variety's. I think this is a good game for those who like fighting games but aren't that good at them. Controls mainly consist of Horizontal attacks, Vertical attacks, Kick attacks, Guarding, and throwing your enemies around. These can be used for a single strike or throw in a huge combo that includes all of the main fighting attacks, a good way to talk trash to your buddies. There are some new features in the fighting that differs SC4 from the other Soul Calibur's. Armor break is a new feature, if your armor gets whacked enough, well it's toast. Critical hit which is also a new feature, this allows fighters to make a huge dent in your life gauge. Then there's the Force bar, this is a bar that is given to Star Wars fighters. Once there Force bar runs out they get penalized.

The last greatest creation of SC4 is the fighter customization area. here you can create your own fighter which few fighting games give the option to do. This is a little more simpler than the previous Soul Calibur games in the past. These are some of the options for fighter customization. There are all sorts of different choices in customization. You can choose from Physique which is how fat tall or skinny you are, what your voice sounds like, your hairstyle, eyes, skin color, and hair color. Pick your genre, choose your fighting style, choose your equipment traits as in defensive offensive HP and so on. Then you can choose to be evil good or neither. you also choose weapons and armour for your fighter that you must unlock dong various things in the game. You can choose from spears, swords, axes, chains, lance, or armor for your head all the way to your toes. There are also different skills to master Power, Impact, Boost, Gauge, and Special.
Overall I have to give this a very good rating, by far the best Soul Calibur to date. This game has very good replay value as you have so many options to choose from. When you get bored you can turn up the difficulty, or go on line where you can play thousands of different people. If your into the fighting games this is highly recommended. Being the best fighting game that I have played so far. It is a great game to pass the time on when your by yourself or with your friends. Matches are much shorter that many other on line games so it's a good game to play when your passing around the controller. I don't have anything bad to say about this  game because in my opinion there is nothing wrong with this game.
