but did your son start eating less non-food stuff once you got him away from dairy products?

I called the hospital pharmacy gal since my son was getting his diapers through them and told her what I wanted, this was before even getting the Rx from the Dr. She checked and said it was covered so then I figured out how many cans a day and asked for 3 cases a month. Thing is insurance or the pharmacy, not sure does it every three months so we got tons here.

Since the boys are on SSI they get Medical and the HMO they are on now is CareFirst. I thought I was going to have to switch to straight medical but the gal at pharmacy said to keep it with the HMO.

I got loads of these ensure plus (vanilla - 355 calories) that I am trying to figure out how to sell on ebay. They expire December 2003.

I have an acct with UPS to charge shipping and could always ask how much it costs to ship. If you are interested the cost would be $15 for a case of 25 - email me with your zip and I could find out shipping via UPS. If shipping is really high we could do $10 for a case.

Let me know

It reminded me of the months I was making Boost Plus shakes for my husband. Trying to get more nutrients into him. He did love those shakes.

Is it ok to ask how ya got the insurance to pay for the ensure? I've been trying to get mine to pay for Bren's PediaSure. The pharmacy suggested I see if our major medical would pay for it.

I know we live in different states and surely have different insurance but maybe something you know would help.

Thanks & Smiles, Char

You certainly composed an informative review Bonnie! Thanks for the attention to detail and all of the helpful information. One of my girlfriends has a son that experienced horrific behavioral issues while on ensure. Take care!!! Lisa
