chposter's Full Review: Speck Products Speck Active Sport Armband Arm Band...
The biggest problems with the Speck case are the lack of sufficient elasticity in the armband and the strap design which places the thickest part of the strap right under your arm. As a result, my arm became tingly while working out. If I loosened it, the player would slip off of my bicep. I would return it except that the return shipping would be a good bit of what I paid. If you have a smaller bicep and just run, then perhaps you would not experience the same loss of circulation that I did.
The Speck holds the Sansa player very snugly. Perhaps a bit too snugly, because when I first tried to place (shove) the player into the case, the top reflective material ripped. Other than that, it appears to be very rugged.
The Speck has an open top and front, so if you run in the rain, then your player would not have much protection. I primarily intended to use this in fair weather conditions.
The buttons are kind of hard to press due to the thickness of the leather. I pretty much have to use my fingernails. This is in part due to the design of the Sansa - the buttons are too small.
This armband holds the player more firmly and closer to the arm than the Digital Lifestyle Action Jacket (005-2100) Case for SanDisk Sansa e200. The DLO has more elasticity, but because you clip the belt clip onto the armband, it bounces around much more than the Speck. Neither one is ideal for me, so I may try the Tempo Armband for Sansa.
I purchased the Speck from Computer Brain for $16.49.
