SPECTRACIDE WEED STOP is one of those products you will ask yourself how you ever got along with out it. If you are a gardener or have bushes and plants but hate to weed this is the product for you.
The product comes in a plastic container and it makes it easy to just pour out of the container to use it. You never have to handle this product so it is very safe. I apply this once a year and that is it.
Application is so simple. You just go out and spread this around your plants in the spring or early summer and it stops all weeds from growing. This is only the new ones so do it early because any that have started keep on growing. It stops all the new ones from growing. If you pull out the weeds and spread this around no new ones will grow that year. this is no joke it is real and you will love it.
The price is good for the amount of labor you save over the year. Some of the weed stops can be used on vegetable gardens but read the instructions to make sure. The only thing that works as good as the weed stops that are out today is a weed block fabric but they have some problems to. You have to remove all the mulch from your plants and then cut and place the weed fabric and put the mulch back over it. They won't last if the sun hits the fabric. It breaks down in a short time so you always need to keep a good layer of mulch on top. Weeds sometimes start to grow on top of the fabric in the mulch so it is not a 100% effective. Weed stop can be used with out mulch or with it. Some people like the look of a good dark soil next to the plants and you can't do this with a weed fabric.
Would i recommend this product i have to say are you nuts i never would go with out it again. So easy and you only do it once a year. That is all i do and i never pull any weeds all year except the few before i use the weed stop. I wish i invented this product because it is the best thing in a long time.
