Pros: Handles well. Durable. Low cost.
Cons: Large diameter for a superline.
The Bottom Line: For top water and carolina rigging it's a good choice.
You won't need to take out a loan to spool up.

| lynyrd's Full Review: SpiderLine Fusion Freshwater Line Series |
It took a while for me to get used to any of the superlines when they became popular. I experimented with many of them and spent a lot of $ doing so. Now I would hate to fish without them.
Sensitivity has more to do with line than anything else, less stretch, more sensitivity. Changing line is not much fun and most all superlines will outlast mono by 10 times or more, also a better value in the long run. Line that floats is often an advantage, mono sinks. Thin diameter is often a big plus, which brings us to Fusion's drawback.
As I stated I've tried a lot of line and the best all around I found was B.P.Shops Nitro. It was only available for a short time, but it was superior in every way to the others, and cost the least. Since they stoped selling it, the best alternative I've been able to find so far is Spiderline Fusion, but it is about .002 to .003" thicker than the same lb. test Nitro, and costs a bit more.
I still use mono and florocarbon in many situations, but more than 50% of the time I'll be using Fusion until a thinner one comes along.
